Indicates the basis of judgment, "from the perspective of...".
Examples:
- あの人は話し方からすると、関西の出身だろう。From the point of view of speaking, that person is probably from Kansai.
- メールの内容からすれば、そのお客さんはまだ商品の使い方をわかっていないようだ。Judging from the content of the email, the customer does not yet know how to use the product.
- 今の実力からすると、勝つのはかなり難しい。Judging from the current strength, it is difficult to win.
