Express tendency and degree, "a little..."
Examples:
- 最近、仕事が忙しくて疲れ気味だから、週末は家でのんびり過ごすつもりだ。I am busy at work recently and feel a little tired, so I plan to spend the weekend leisurely at home.
- 昨日から風邪気味で、だるくて何もする気になりません。I started to catch a little cold yesterday, my body was weak, and I didn't want to do anything.
- 最近食べ過ぎのせいか、太り気味だ。 I have eaten a lot recently and feel a little fatter.
It is generally used for the speaker's own feelings, and used to express bad things.
