Meaning:
plan to do sth.
Examples:
- 来年は日本へ旅行に行くつもりだ。I'm going on a trip to Japan next year.
- 明日の飲み会には行かないつもりだ。I'm not going to tomorrow's drinking party.
- 病院に行くつもりだったが、急用が出来て行けなくなった。I intended to go to the hospital, but I couldn't go because of an urgent need.
